Bear Viewing Suggested Clothing and Gear List

This is a suggested clothing list it is to give you ideas on what to bring to make your trip as comfortable as possible the amounts and types are not mandatory. You should make common sense judgments on how you wear clothing and take in account the length of your stay in determining what and how many to bring.

Suggestion: Do Not Bring Cotton Clothing

When packing for a Alaskan Wilderness Adventure keep these things in mind.
1. Alaska's Katmai Park Weather can change rapidly.
2. The location of the wilderness camp forces you to travel by bush plane where weight of gear becomes a huge factor. You will also be required to carry your own pack and gear on all hikes. So packing light and efficiently is important.
3. Pack clothing colors that are most natural to nature (recommended).
