Imagine you and your guests alone in the last true wilderness left in North America, the pristine wilds of Alaska's Katmai Coast virtually unchanged in tens of thousands of years you will feel you are in a land time forgot.  Shuttled in by fixed wheel or float plane you will land on the coast of Katmai's Kukak Bay, Kafalia Bay to spend a 3 to 10 day Alaskan Wilderness Adventure. Guided by one of Alaska Adventures veteran bear viewing guides and naturalists you will spend your days in the most rugged wilderness North America has to offer. Whether it be bear viewing, beach combing or fossil hunting everyday will be a new exciting adventure. A typical day starts with a energizing breakfast cooked on a open flame, then a short orientation then its off on exploration hike to view and photograph the mighty coastal brown bear of Alaska during your hike you will see foxes, wolves, moose, shore birds, otters and more. The Katmai Coast is not just home to some of the highest concentrations of brown bears but it is the summer breeding grounds for some of the most beautiful shore birds in the world. This land is filled with beauty as the fireweed blooms on the outskirts of the lush green meadows and the Fleabane darts the beaches with there bright yellow flowers. Being very active in marine life Harbor Seals and Sea Otters are commonly seen patrolling the coast and curiously following hikers as they walk along the shore these are truly memorable moments and precious photo opportunities are endless. A packed lunch and snacks are provided for a day in the field. Upon return to your safari style camp you will be able to relax and reminisce about the days adventures while your prepared a evening hearty family style meal. Wind down and get a good nights rest as the next day brings a new adventure.
